St Aldhelm’s Church Centre offers a large function hall & 5 meeting rooms, with varying capacity, ranging from 10 – 180 people, depending on room configuration – Theatre, Cafe or Board-room style.
On the Ground Floor
HALL Large Function room
The HALL is suitable for various uses e.g.
- Corporate or group meetings and events
- Training and Away Days
- Special Events/Promotions
- Conferences
- Adult and Childrens Parties
This room has a maximum Capacity for 180 people (theatre style).
PA/music/& laptop links.
Portable staging can be hired for use in the hall.
Projector & screen with laptop link.
Induction Loop.
LOUNGE Cafe style
Attached to the HALL is a LOUNGE which can be hired with the HALL or separately depending on your needs. Soft seating and low coffee tables are also available.
KITCHEN
The catering kitchen is available by prior arrangement, an extra cost will be charged to use this. Price on Application.
The kitchen has direct serving access into the HALL & Plenary area.
On the First Floor
ROOM 1
ROOM 1 can accommodate 10-14 people.
On the second Floor
LANDING
Kitchenette facilities for tea and coffee-making, serving all the 2nd Floor rooms.
ROOM 3 or 4.
ROOMS 3 or 4 can accommodate 12-18 people.
They can also be joined & hired together.

ROOM 5
ROOM 5 can accommodate between 25 to 50 people.
Multimedia link up for laptop with TV screen.

General Information
The Centre has been built to a high efficiency energy rating and boasts under floor heating and automatic vents for your comfort.
Each room has climate controlled heating and automatic venting roof windows.
Parking is available on site, at the rear and sides of the building, and has the capacity for 38 cars including 4 designated disabled spaces. Bicycle park facilities are located next to the Centre entrance.
Rooms can be configured to your requirements with chairs and tables.
All rooms are available for hire between 8.30am and 10.30pm.
Optional extras eg. Flip charts and refreshments are available and can be added to your booking.
The services of on-site staff are available to assist your booking.
